Event Description:
Pack your lawn chairs, don your best patriotic garb and gear up for an old-fashioned celebration of our great nation in Round Top. It’s the longest-running parade west of the Mississippi –and it’s an awful lot of fun.
The civil war-era cannon will roar at 10:30 a.m., announcing the start of the parade. After the procession, head to the Round Top Rifle Hall for a buffet lunch provided by the Rifle Association. The afternoon continues with music, a raffle and games for the kids until 4:00 p.m. when the local band sets up the for afternoon's dance.
