Event Description:
It’s time to air the quilts in the country! Enjoy and experience a
day walking the town of Chappell Hill and enjoying quilts
spread throughout the town. As an addition to the 2024 Airing
of the Quilts, there will be a special attraction of a private
collection of “Antique Dish Towels and Linens on display.
The Friendship Quilt Guild will have their beautiful handmade
quilts laid out in the Providence Baptist Church for all the
enjoy! You will find many quilts lining Main Street also. There
will be a special section for quilts that are “for sale”.
Painted Lady Quilts and the Toland Family quilts will be
displayed at the Museum as a special showing.
Spend the day in downtown Chappell Hill on Saturday, September 14 from 11AM to 4PM for this fun and unique event while shopping and dining.
