Saint Cecilia's Round Top, a creative community of faith that celebrates music and musicians, announces a special service honoring the birthday of John Lennon and the musical legacy of the Beatles. The "Imagine" Mass takes place in the historic Round Top Dance Hall, 550 N. Washington Street, on Sunday, October 6th, at 10:30 a.m. This unique celebration is a collaboration of author and Episcopal priest, Fr. William Miller, and a group of world-class musicians including: Crispin Schroeder (New Orleans), David Pulkingham (Austin), Ben Jones (England), Rob Kazenel (Canada), Bobby McDonald (Houston), Ashley Monical (Austin) and Stephen Mansolo (Brenham). The service features inspiring Lennon and Beatles songs reimagined in a spiritual context including: In My Life, Here Comes the Sun, We Can Work it Out, Imagine, Blackbird, Let it Be, Across the Universe, Love (Lennon), Now and Then, All You Need is Love, and Revolution.
