Name: Blue Sunday - Pray for Child Abuse
Date: April 30, 2017
Event Description:

We invite you to participate:  Blue Sunday Child Abuse Prevention Initiative (Blue Sunday) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with two goals: 1) Meet the needs of abused children, 2) To raise awareness among the faith community through our annual National Blue Sunday Day of Prayer for Abused Children which is always the last Sunday of April which is child abuse prevention month.

National Blue Sunday Day of Prayer for Abused Children began in 1994 with 20 churches but has grown to include over 7.4 million participants on 5 continents. All we asked is for churches to take a moment during their service to pray for abused children and for those who rescue them. It’s free. Nothing to join. We do ask that everyone who participates register to monitor our effectiveness.
