Event Description:
Washington County residents are invited to see who is the master cook in the 2nd Annual Cooking For a Cure BBQ Cook-Off to fight cancer. This two-day event combines the aroma and taste of barbeque and family-friendly entertainment with the sounds of local live music. There will be three BBQ categories and a Chef?s Choice Division on Friday night along with a Margarita contest. Saturday continues with the Bloody Mary and baked beans contest. Plaques and money will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in all categories. Even young chefs can show off their cooking talents at the Junior Cook Off Division on Saturday featuring a Small Fry Burger Burn for ages 6 and under and a Pork Chop Flop and Mop for ages 7 to 12.

Fees/Admission:
The non-refundable entry fee is $75 for three categories and includes all three categories plus the Chef?s Choice, $50 for two categories and $15 for one category and Chef?s Choice. A single entry is $15. The margarita, Bloody Mary and beans taste-off are all a $15 entry fee. The Small Fry Burger Burn, for children ages 6 and under, is free for all contestants. The Pork Chop Flop and Mop, for kids ages 7 to 12 years, includes a $5 entrance fee.
