Depot Days

Come out on Saturday, May 2, 2009, to enjoy our 2nd annual May event at our historic railroad depot in downtown Burton, Texas. The depot is one of two sites currently maintained and protected by the Burton Heritage Society. The other site is the Mt. Zion Cemetery, a state historic cemetery. Both sites have THC markers. DEPOT DAYS is a celebration of the spring season with good food, good fun and fellowship. Burton's history, like so many other small towns, is intertwined with the Railroad. We'll have the depot open for tours. By supporting and encouraging our preservation efforts you can help us keep Burton's history alive!
