Composting Presentation- FREE Saturday, October 26th at 10 AM Teresa Wilson comes from a long line of farming and nursery ancestors who moved to Texas in 1854. Before completing training to become a Master Gardener volunteer in 2020, she enjoyed home gardening for over 30 years. In 2021 she relocated to Brenham Texas and transferred to the Bluebonnet Master Gardner Association which serves Washington, Colorado, Austin, and Fayette counties. With the Bluebonnet Master Gardeners, Teresa is the lead volunteer for a school garden project teaching 3rd and 4th graders horticulture basics, assists with the Washington County Lunch N Learn gardening program, is a volunteer for the 2024 Master Gardener Intern Training Class in Washington County and active as a Master Gardener volunteer in her community in many other ways. In 2023 Teresa completed advanced training from the Texas A & M AgriLife Extension service in Ft Bend County on composting. Her comprehensive composting lecture covers composting techniques, water conservation, soil health and permaculture.
