Music of Early Texas 1820 - 1870

The choir of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, in partnership with the Independence Historical Society will present a program of music of early Texas: 1820-1870.  Music will include favorite hymns, cowboy songs, Civil war tunes, marching melodies from the war of Texas Independence and many other popular pieces.  There will also be a sing-a-long with everyone participating.  The concert is free and open to the public.
