Event Description:
The Blinn College District Theatre Arts Program will present four plays on the Brenham Campus, ranging from a classic love story by William Shakespeare to a musical about a square pumpkin.
The theme for the 2025-26 season is “What’s in a Name?” The program plans an ambitious schedule of performances, said Theatre Arts Director Brad Nies, who will direct three of the plays.
“We have very talented students in our program who are looking forward to performing for the public,” said Nies. “The students and faculty work every season to stage plays that appeal to a broad audience, and we think the public is going to be entertained by this season’s schedule.”
All performances will be held at the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center at 600 Blinn Boulevard. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for Blinn students and children. They are available online at www.blinn.edu/boxoffice, by calling 979-830-4024, or emailing boxoffice@blinn.edu.

- “Spookley the Square Pumpkin: The Musical,” 7 p.m. Oct. 16 and 17, and 2 p.m. Oct. 18 and 19 (school preview performances will be at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 17 );
- “Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll and Hyde Play,” 7 p.m. Nov. 13 and 14, and 2 p.m. Nov. 15 and 16 (preview performances are Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.);
- “Romeo and Juliet,” 7 p.m. Feb. 19 and 20, and 2 p.m. Feb. 21 and 22 (preview performances are Feb. 19 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.);
- and “The Boys Next Door,” 7 p.m. April 16 and 17, and 2 p.m. April 18 and 19 (preview performances are April 16 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.).
