Event Description:
July is the month for picnics, lemonade, watermelon and big shade trees. This year, July is also the perfect time to visit Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site and take part in our Stagecoach Days event.
Our lovely red replica stagecoach, pulled by Percheron draft horses, Willie and Waylon, will be taking passengers to the historic Grimes County Courthouse and back! Also included in the event are tours of the Inn, dulcimer music and cowboy poetry. Just what the doctor ordered to cure the summertime blues.
