Summer has come and gone and the kids are getting back into their studies. Why not give them a break from the books and visit Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site? Students and parents alike can enjoy a different kind of history lesson and learn about the way people really lived in 1850’s Texas. The young and young at heart can ride our bright, red replica stagecoach, tour the Inn, relax to the soothing strumming of the Star of Texas dulcimer players and reminisce with our cowboy poet, Kenny Lewis. Picnic tables are scattered under the shade trees for your convenience.
