Event Description:
The Texas members of the Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) were challenged to create 12 x12 art quilts that reflect the distinctive character of the Lone Star State. The resulting works of art reflect on each artist s version of their Texas Experience ; the diverse topography and cultural landscape, the past, present, and future of the Lone Star State, and the emotional impact of being a Texan.
