Which famous Texas Ranger lived and died in Burton, Texas?  Discover Burton’s unique history on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Texas Ranger Day from noon to 5pm hosted by the Burton Heritage Society.  Celebrate Burton’s history with the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Chili and Bean cook-off and experience Texas Ranger Camp life in the 1880’s, demonstrations with the the Legends of the Texas Rangers, mule drive buggy rides.  We will have DJ music thanks to the Kountry Chick.
