Interested in getting out and getting some fresh air? Looking for a way to get the kids outside to explore the great outdoors? How about bringing the family to Nails Creek State Park to enjoy our Texas Wildflower Hike that will be held every Saturday during the month of April at 10am! A ranger will visit with the kids about different Texas Wildflowers and how they coexist with the wildlife at the park. This program is designed to help educate our youth on the different wildflower species they may experience while in the park. Afterwards you could have a picnic, hike a trail, or even rent a canoe or kayak to paddle around the lake. Maybe go on a geocache hunt or try fishing at our kid fishing pond with our free tackle loaner program. Entrance is $4 per person over the age of 13. Ages 12 and under are free!
