Event Description:
Fall is in the air and so is Texian Day at Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site. Visitors can experience a day at an 1850's stagecoach inn! Hear the hammers of the smithy ring out against the anvil. Watch the spinners and weavers move with rhythmic motion as they ply their trade. Observe chuck wagon cook, Eddie Eppler create gastronomic masterpieces as dulcimer musicians coax melodies from strings and wood. And don't miss the oft-times humorous and occasionally melancholy cowboy poet as he spins yarns and weaves tales out of thin air.
