Through diversification in agribusiness, the discovery of oil and gas, or success in other business ventures, the families who built Texas’ historic ranches survived. They protected and preserved their legacies through commitment, innovation, determination and sheer fortitude. The George Bush Presidential Library’s newest exhibit will highlight examples of historic Texas ranches that have endured to the present day and will provide an educational overview of how the livestock industries helped shape the State. This exhibit will be on display March 6th, 2017 through January 7th, 2018.
