Primary Responsibilities:
As a Texas Receiving Inspector, you will work with aircraft safety equipment to perform initial inspection of survival inflatable products to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and specifications are met.
Duties:
• Review customer documentation for service requirements and verifies against work order
• Confirm service request against capabilities list to ensure work can be performed
• Performs visual inspection of unit
• Inspects unit for repairable condition and life limitations including condition of unit, DOM, and damages
• Confirms that no defective and/or unapproved parts are utilized
• Generates a work order that will accompany unit throughout the overhaul process
• Documents any discrepancies and/or defect and properly document corrective actions on the work order
• Ensures any relevant Airworthiness Directives (AD's) are applied
• Checks that Service Bulletins are complied with when applicable to the required task
• Carries out duties in accordance too QCM/RSM written procedures
• Maintains working area in an organized and neat condition
• Observes and follows all safety rules and policies
• Maintain an acceptable level of productivity as determined by department requirements
