Annual Photo Contest
There is still time to enter your photo in the 2014 “Slice of Life in Washington County” Photo Contest. The contest closes December 31and there is no cost to enter. Application forms may be found on www.visitbrenhamtexas.com or picked up at the Chamber office, 314 S. Austin St., or at the Visitor Center in the Simon Theater building at 115 W. Main Street in Brenham.
The top three winners receive cash prizes and the possibility of their photo being published as a souvenir postcard for visitors to purchase and/or in the annual Washington County Magazine.
In the past few years, subjects that were winners included a Longhorn silhouetted against a Washington County sunset, a rusty windmill draped with flowers, the Fair carnival at dusk, interesting views of historic buildings (and there are a lot of those in this county), and much more. Your creativity can make the difference!
