Governor's Small Business Forum - June 1st

                The Washington County Chamber will co-host this Forum with the Burleson County Chamber, Navasota-Grimes County Chamber, Research Valley Partnership, and Office of the Governor of Texas on Wednesday, June 1, at the Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham.  Business and civic leaders from throughout the region are invited to attend.
                The purpose of the Forum is to provide local businesses with timely and valuable information to succeed in today’s economy. Businesses will have the chance to network with others to exchange stories and ideas about how to achieve success and overcome challenges.
                Last year, almost 250 were in attendance including small business owners and managers, representatives from state agencies, local elected officials, marketing partners and more.
                A key highlight of the event will be the announcement of the 2016 Small Business of the Year awards.  In 2015, Home Sweet Farm Market & Biergarten took home the award.  In 2014, both Brenham National Bank and RE/MAX Advantage were honored with the award.
