Unsolicited Map Ad Sales

It has come to the Chamber's attention that a company has been calling local businesses regarding advertisements for a map that is in production. This map is NOT affiliated with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.
The next "Official Street Map" for Brenham/Washington County will be produced in Spring/Summer 2017 and we will inform you when ad sales begin for that publication. The company who produces the official map for our area is Community Matters, Inc.
Whenever you receive a request to advertise on maps, phone book covers, fridge magnets, etc. we recommend that you never commit on the phone. Ask the company to send you printed information and also ask for references. You should never feel pressured to advertise. Call the Chamber anytime you have a question.
