ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage HR-related employee transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee payroll processes for accurate time records and maintain HRIS (Paycom) for data integrity.
- Foster a positive environment by building strong connections with leadership and employees, addressing concerns, and supporting HR initiatives to enhance company culture.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and ensuring a welcoming onboarding experience.
- Support HR initiatives such as offboarding, performance reviews, and benefits administration to enhance employee experience.
- Stay updated on relevant HR and payroll laws, ensuring adherence to Federal and State regulations.
- Work closely with the cross-functional HR team to resolve HR and payroll issues, fostering a cohesive HR function.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma with 5+ years of HR experience or a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field with 2 years of HR generalist experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in payroll administration.
- Manufacturing skills is required.
- Strong understanding of Federal and State laws related to HR practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.
