Tom McKenzie founded Sun Pools in 1979 while building custom homes and other large commercial and multi-family buildings. Tom custom designs each pool and outlines the contract so that there are NO “HIDDEN” or “ADDITIONAL” charges.

Sun Pools has the knowledge, stability, and reputation that are essential for building custom designed swimming pools. Since 1979 Sun Pools has been providing top notch workmanship and experience in Washington County and many surrounding counties. If this is your first swimming pool or not, Sun Pools has the experience and knowhow to complete the project in budget, and on time.

When building your swimming pool there are many details to consider. Sun Pools is dedicated to custom designing a swimming pool to fit your needs, even if it takes several design proofs to get it right. We do not use a “cookie-cutter” or “take it or leave it” approach. A construction coordinator is assigned to ensure that all phases of the project are meeting the highest quality standards, and that the work proceeds at a steady pace.

We also take the necessary time to educate each pool owner about the pump and filtering equipment, water chemistry, and weekly maintenance following the completion of the project.
